Wealth Management should provide peace of mind – but won’t if you worry about the quality and objectivity of the professional advice you receive. Financial, investment and personal advice must be impartial, offered by people you trust, and delivered in plain language.
At Johnson Lyman Wealth Advisors, one value drives us: doing what is best for you. We are independent, a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and our charter is to provide objective, “fee-only” financial advice on a fiduciary basis.
We have designed our fee structure so that our interests are well aligned with yours. Our compensation model is “fee-only” which means that we do not accept revenue from any other source and have no proprietary products to sell, so our advice is free of the conflicts of interest that plague many other advisors. We charge an ongoing quarterly retainer that covers our entire financial coaching process, including the implementation of your plan, coordination of your professional advisors and up to $1 million in portfolio management. Unlike other advisors, we do not require you to have a minimum level of assets to manage. Clients can elect to have us manage all or none of their portfolio as part of the implementation of their plan. For clients that ask us to manage more than $1 million in funds, we charge an additional, competitive percentage of those assets above $1 million.
All of our financial planning professionals are members of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) whose primary aim is to foster the value of financial planning and advance the financial planning profession.
